The MTB Raid in Armenia allowed around forty teenagers from the Children’s Homes of Pas-de-Calais and two institutions in Vanadzor (in the north of Armenia), as well as members of the Armenian Cycling Federation, to cover 10 stages and 650 km along the roads and mountain paths of the Lesser Caucasus, with an average of 65 km per stage.

The journey began and ended in Yerevan, the capital, with one of the stages passing through Vanadzor, where our friends from the orphanages gave us an unforgettable welcome. The living conditions were those of a mountain bivouac, which turned the experience into both a physical and sporting achievement.
